Enfold IT’s Plain English Privacy Policy
What We Collect
Whenever you visit our site, your web browser sends over certain information like:
- What IP Address you’re coming from
- What page you went to
- Your browser type
- What OS you run
- Which site referred you to us
We collect and aggregate this anonymous information so we can figure out how our website is working as an advertising medium and to give us feedback on how to better update the site.
Newsletters and Comments
If you sign up for out newsletter or ask us to contact you, we will save the information you gave us and contact you. We will not share this with any third parties.
We reserve the right to show any comments you make on our comment-able posts in public…. but that was probably what you were shooting for or you would have e-mailed us instead. Regardless, they are public comments, so you should probably not declare your intention to commit crimes or engage in TMI. If the government shows up with a warrant, we’re handing over what they’re looking for. The owner of Enfold IT has let me know that he doubts his ability to thrive in prison due to varying personality quirks and “Very tender skin”. Again, TMI.
Cookies
We use cookies to store things on your machine like whether or not you want to use the mobile site, or so we don’t have to keep verifying your login. We use Google Analytics to crunch our numbers on the web site and they have their own privacy policy.
Opt-out
If you decide that you don’t want the newsletter or us talking to you anymore (*sad face*), e-mail us, or call us and we’ll take you off the list. Make sure your subject line has something like “Unsubscribe” in it or it might get treated like spam. Any of our people can do this for you, so don’t worry too much about who you talk to.
In Conclusion
If you give us information we’ll use it appropriately. If you ask us to get rid of it, we will. If you post something in public we will give it all the respect it deserves. Snape kills Dumbledore.
